Blogs
Blogs are
basically a website that keep individuals updated and allows business or
companies to share information. They can also be used for certain entries like
opinions, knowledge or just random advice. Blogs can range from professional to
personal and you can also write about almost any subject. The blog Hollywood
life focuses on entertainment and the most recent memes and popular viral
videos. https://hollywoodlife.com/
This blog has the recent news on celebrities with pictures, headlines and the
beginning of the article where you can click to read the full story. For
example, as of nine hours ago, Prine Harry and Meghan Markle were seen at the
Invictus Game closing ceremony and it appears that the two had a great time.

Clicking on the story, you can read the story of how Meghan
Markle didn’t attend events during the day but showed up that night to
celebrate her husband’s 39th birthday and they looked great together
despite the rumors of their marriage falling apart. Harry actually created the
games for wounded veterans and servicemen and it was held in Germany. Back to
the blog, it was very well organized and descriptive. With many quotes and the
author’s purpose for this post would be an update on a Royal celebrity who gave
up his title as attended an event with his wife, who has a lot of publicity
circling around her. What I didn’t like about this blog was that it focused
more on the negatives than positives of Prince Harry’s life. He attended out of
respect for a program he created and this actually focuses more on his marriage
that holds a lot of attention and even talks about how he was interviewed but asked
not to be questioned about his children and then the article went on about
drama regarding his marriage.
A more
organized and similar blog is Fast Company. The layout of this article is well
organized and has a picture on the top of the page and four sections you can
choose from that switch articles and show the top stories. As you scroll down,
it shows the articles more in depth and has pictures regarding the article and
a section you can click on to read more information. For example, they have an
article that talks about world impact, and the story is How Maine got more
than 100,00 residences to install heat pumps. https://www.fastcompany.com/ I personally like this blog because it has a
more personal appeal and talks about how the author grew up in Vermont and only
a few days a year it would get hot and they’d have to turn on fans. She started
the blog off trying to relate to her audience and then started stating facts
about Maine’s weather change and how home are built for certain climates.
